inFakt: Setting Up Your Integration


Introduction

The Matters.Cloud + inFakt integration is available to all inFakt subscribers with a premium license and allows users to:
  1. Export Clients from Matters.Cloud to create Clients in inFakt.
  2. Export Invoices from Matters.Cloud to create Invoices in inFakt.
  3. Export Credit notes from Matters.Cloud to create Credit notes in inFakt.



Generate inFakt API key

In order to link a Matters.Cloud account to InFakt an InFakt API Key must first be generated. The steps are outlined in the below article:

Step 1: Navigate to account settings (Ustawienia)

The owner or administrator of the account needs to login to the infakt.pl website and select the option:



Step 2: Navigate to API settings

Select the API option from the right hand navigation pane:



Step 3: Enter key description

Enter a key description of 'Matters.Cloud' and if prompted enter your password.
Click the Generate (Wygeneruj) button.



Step 4: Copy the key to the clipboard

Select the key and copy it to the clipboard.



Note: The key is only available when first generating it, if you forget to copy it or need to enter it again in future you will need to delete the existing key and generate a new one.

Connecting Matters.Cloud with inFakt

Step 1: Access The Integrations Portal

The integrations portal allows you to configure integrations with common cloud-based platform
To accss the portal simply select Setup > Integrations and locate the following tile:



Step 2: Connect To inFakt

Click the Connect button on the inFakt tile and the following form will be displayed:



Enter your inFakt API key and click the Submit button.
