Access Rights

Access Level
  1. Administrator-Level Access: All logins requiring access to the Migration Server must have admin privileges or sufficient SQL Server access to perform DML and DDL operations, including creating tables in the staging database, setting up staging databases, and extracting data from source databases.
  2. Read-Only Access to Network Locations: Each login must have at least read-only access to any network file paths where documents are stored.
  3. Database Access: A linked server connection or a local replica of the source databases must be provided to facilitate data extraction and transformation.

If internet access is not available, the client must provide a network share path or file upload location from which the Firm’s IT team can download the necessary files to the migration server.

The team will follow the firm’s standard access procedures for third-party vendors, including but not limited to:
  1. Citrix
  2. Remote Desktop
  3. VPN
