Does The Software Support Right To Left Languages?


Introduction

Matters.Cloud currently offers limited support for right-to-left (RTL) languages, allowing you to store data in RTL character sets within the Matters.Cloud platform. To improve this experience, we recommend using the third-party plugin mentioned below.
Please note that we do not currently support running the user interface in right-to-left languages.

Right To Left Languages

The following is a list right to left languages:
  1. Arabic
  2. Aramaic
  3. Hebrew
  4. Kurdish
  5. Persian
  6. Urdu

Recommended Plugin - Google Input Tools

We recommend using the following plugin for Chrome:

Google Input Tools
Switch to typing in a different language with the click of the mouse, and switch back just as easily. The Google Input Tools extension provides virtual keyboards for over 90 languages and handwriting input for over 40 languages.



Key Benefits:
Once installed this will allow you to capture right to left language characters when using Google Chrome and it has the added advantage of automatically switching the cursor to operate from right to left during input.
