Installing ndOffice On Microsoft Windows
Installing ndOffice, a powerful plugin by NetDocuments, enhances your productivity by seamlessly integrating your NetDocuments services with Microsoft Office applications.
This article provides a step-by-step guide to assist you in successfully installing ndOffice on your computer. By following these instructions, you can ensure a smooth setup process, enabling you to efficiently manage, organize, and access your documents directly from your Office suite.
Download ndOffice for Microsoft Windows
Download the following file from the NetDocuments website:
Install ndOffice On Your Computer
Install ndOffice on the client:
- Before installing, updating or repairing the ndOffice application, close Outlook and Office.
- Close the machine's default browser and keep it closed until ndOffice prompts to open the browser to authenticate to NetDocuments.
- Ensure the account has administrative rights before installation.
- Using the above file run the ndOfficeSetup.exe, then select Next.
- When the NetDocuments Terms of Use dialog box appears, read the license agreement, select that you agree to the terms, and select Install.
- In the Installation Successfully Completed dialog box, select Close.
Open ndOffice Application
At this point, ndOffice will need to be started manually from the Start Menu
Once started you can access ndOffice via the sytem tray as shown below:
Sign In To ndOffice
Once opened from the task tray, the user will be asked to log in. When installing ndOffice for the first time the Service Region defaults to the US and needs to be updated to be able to login. This most commonly happens where the login is pointed at vault.netdocuments.com, which is the US server.
